And while he hates to admit it, it unearths a lot of new questions Newt has about this place. Clearly someone had been in here. Were they living in it? Were they using it to travel? Was it something else? Newt's getting vibes off of all of it, but nothing incredibly worse than that creepy mall had given him. At least this time, they know what they're up against.

Then Tommy's looking to him with the same question, and Newt find himself nodding, even if almost every fibre of his being says that it's a bad idea. Staying out in the Maze during the night had been a bad idea to him too, as had running out into the Scorch, and yet both of them had ended up working out for the best. ]
