[She was just about to point out that her missing him had absolutely nothing to do with how much she hated being here. But he gave her room to just give him information instead, and she couldn't resist being useful in that way. So she gave a little nod and moved to sit on the edge of her bed.]

Noise draws them in, so it's only safe to talk in places that have been soundproofed. We'e supposed to keep to the sandpaths and stay as silent as possible otherwise. That means there's a lot of normal things we're used to doing that we can't, not unless it's raining or the area is completely soundproofed.
