I've heard it has been, yeah. I'm starting to think it's part of the sound eaters, and it makes us perceive our senses the same way they do theirs. Like a test.

[A test to see who was strong enough to eventually become a sound eater themselves. The thought was sobering and depressing, and not one fit for a night that was supposed to be happy because she had him back with her. Giving his hand a squeeze, she lightly smiled before tugging him down to lay beside her. It was a little odd, laying turned sideways on the bed. But it was comfortable enough that she didn't mind it.]

I'm not sure I'm looking forward to what it does to us next.
