See Spot Lay Down [Teddy doesn't rush to leave the reset room when he returns. The storm has passed, but the ragged canine is still gathering himself. It may not be the case, but it feels like every death leaves him a little more worn and sore than the last.
He lies down off to the side, his head on his paws as he watches the doors. There are new arrivals in the city, the second batch in the month, and that awareness weighs heavily on his mind as he considers the ramifications. More humans means more resources needed and a greater necessity for food to be spread about. The larger the community grows, the heavier the weight of his new title as co-leader weighs on his shoulders, and the stronger his drive to protect these people becomes.
He lifts his head slightly at the approach of another body in the reset room, his nose twitching faintly to determine whether or not this was a familiar scent or a new one amidst all the others. In either case, his tail gives a slow and tired wag as it slides along the floor.]
Run Run Rover [Teddy is far behind on his resource hunts and he knows it. It's early evening when he starts his new search, and the large shadow of a canine can be found following broken paths or gingerly stepping from broken path to broken path as he checks old buildings for overlooked resources, travelling at the far edges of the existing paths. On four paws with the pack at his back he could cover further distance than the sand, but without his handler, there isn't much point to it.
He hasn't mastered door knobs near as well as he has begun to master the lever handles. He tests a loosely hanging door with a gentle nudge of his nose to be sure the hinges won't squeak before belly crawling his way into one of the more decrepit buildings.]
