[Shuri hears a male voice. It doesn't sound that much older than her friends back in Wakanda. It puts him roughly at her own age, give or take. Her heart is already racing, but it lurches and drops when she realizes that someone else is involved in this. Running is no longer an option. She turns and moves back toward her attacker and the boy that's trying to help her. He's laying back in the sand and she frowns, making quick work out of crouching at his side. He's bene punched, but will be fine.

Channeling what Nakia or Okoye might do, Shuri picks herself up and places her foot against the man's throat. It isn't in her nature to kill, and she knows her brother wouldn't want her to do it. Her mother wants to keep her safe and would tell her to choose to be gentle. But she knows that T'Challa did not get where he is today by being gentle. Following his heart and remaining passive is what nearly got him killed. A gentle heart makes a kind person, and it is hard for a kind person to survive in these circumstances. Her foot presses more firmly against the man's throat.

Nakia would kill him. But Shuri is not Nakia.

Is there a way to restrain him?

[She calls out to the boy, not looking away from her attacker. He's starting to lose the edge of being dazed, and is starting to thrash and ready himself to knock her off balance.]
