[ Poe almost feels useless as the other woman does all of the work. However, he can't help but watch her movements as if she had done this very thing for years. But what she does next surprises him. She poofs into silver dust before coming back. The blunderbuss is loud at first and it settles him. He's used to blasters but an actual gun not so much. The sound makes him take a step back while watching the attacker spray out the dust that looks bloody. His mouth is parted and he's a bit off guard, not seeing another attacker coming up to flank.
He's almost a bit late when he sees a wooden club get swung at him. Poe dodges before he can get whacked by it. The club comes after him again and he grabs the end of it with both hands. He yanks it forward towards him while kicking a leg at the attacker's chest to get them to loose their grip on it. The wooden club becomes an improvised weapon for Poe to use. He quickly uses it smacking the attacker as he's the one caught off guard now. And he doesn't stop at one smack, he does it again hard on the head several times before the attacker turns to dust and the club disappears from his hand. It's not so bad to do this. There's no guilt that comes either since it feels necessary to do since the situation almost feels never ending. ]
