He knew that by posting his story to the network instead of telling it in front of an audience, that the chances of 2B reading it were almost zero. He's sure he was right, and yet he couldn't help but worry about the truth spilling out.

He could have written about anything else, so why take such a risk? Maybe... There was a small part of him that wanted her to know, but that could never be. He was happy to just be able to spend the time he had with her.
