[It's a carpet, and those aren't supposed to move. Not even in her world, where magic existed but was limited to supernatural creatures, holy rings, and enchanted swords. But at the same time, it's a carpet — not exactly something known for being dangerous or even especially troublesome.
After a stunned minute or two, curiosity inevitably overcomes the bafflement. The carpet seemed....intelligent? Those gestures were recognizable somehow, despite being performed by tassels instead of hands. Posture smoothing out into something much more relaxed, Lys puts her hand up to her mouth to spit out the Snitch, gripping it tightly between calloused fingers, and starts buffing it on her jumpsuit. It's the best she can do without any napkins on hand.
Unable to type out questions on her device AND keep a firm grip on the fluttering sphere of metal (not having two hands was getting to be a real pain), Lys settles for holding up the Snitch and mouthing, slowly:
