[Aaron's going to take one of the communal pickles. When in distopia, never turn down food. He tries so very hard not to crunch down on it and the slow chewing is starting to agitate him in general.
If someone's really observant they may notice Aaron seems somehow... smaller than he did while moving his stuff in. He might be an inch or two shorter, his hair doesn't look quite as thick or long, his jumpsuit no longer looks ill-fitting and hes a tad scrawnier.
