II. (open) i'm gonna fight with myself til i'm bleeding

day: 11th nighttime (after all new arrivals are out and about/getting settled)

A. have you ever had a hot dog cooked by a guy named hotdog? this is going on instastories.

[ the time has come for frank to probably show all you losers what a hot dog is. for posterity or some such. he's been curing deer meat from a recent hunting trip with aloy and after their housemate reigen had soundproofed house six's kitchen, well. it seemed as good a time as any to put his plan in motion. not to mention he's in a good mood for once after encountering his best friend among the new arrivals.

early in the evening, frank will be piping his mixture into homemade casings with the doors to the back deck wide open for anyone to come pester him. and then later on of course he will be cooking them up with mustard he made and onions he found. he will also chop up pickles from the natives for anyone who gets down like that. none of y'all better ever ask him what a hot dog is ever again!!!

if you come in while he's cooking expect to be put to work, and did i mention he'll be downing rosé the whole time? e n j o y.

note: the kitchen is only soundproof when all the doors are closed. he will tell everyone on arrival this, so while he's cooking the doors will be shut but all other times feel free to mingle!! ]

B. the rules of fight club are bring snacks and make sure frank castle stays in bruises. tia for your contribution.

[ after posting up this little gem, frank has been steadily gathering members for his and mike's "club." his garage is a makeshift boxing arena and open for all any time they want to blow off steam or learn some new skills from punching bag himself. or from whoever else is lingering around. feel free to match yourselves and have a fight without him too, he'll ref!

the only rules of fight club are: bring snacks, agree with your partner on tactics: weapons/no weapons, fists only/every man for himself etc etc. AND when one person taps out or doesn't get up the match is over. the garage is approximately 80% soundproof. every fighter must wear wraps on their hands to muffle sound and agree not to shout or make loud noises, even in pain. soft-volume trash talking is allowed and perhaps even encouraged... ]

A) OTA
[Aaron's not going to turn down food. If someone else is willing to do the work, he's willing to eat it. Also it's a good time to socialize and forget about the fact he's still alone, sort of.

He's still going to come and wave at whoever is hanging out. He even pulls out his phone and flashes a pretyped message.]

Hello! Quiet night tonight.

[It's a bad joke but you're not supposed to laugh out loud anyways, right?]


B) OTA | Frank?
[Now that he's fed, he goes to check out the garage and even brought a snack! He cracks open a jar of fruit juice marinated pickles and takes one for himself. Aaron leaves the rest for anyone to try.

They are terrible. Why would anyone do this? Aaron's going to have to eat them all if no one else tries them.

Also, for anyone who has seen him out back or during normal times, he seems a few inches taller, a little thicker in build and his hair seems to have suddenly grown thicker as well. He's still wearing the jumpsuit and it fits the same though.]

So, am I supposed to start with getting beat up by the biggest guy here or do we draw straws?

[ frank still isn't used to talking. he hates the device still, but he's learning to live with it. sign language comes more and more easily every day and he finds himself wanting to live in the imposed silence the natives do. so when this guy comes up into his space with terrible snacks and a way too cheerful demeanor, frank doesn't take long to decide he doesn't like him. he grits his teeth at the question, looking around. it's just them, so he supposes that makes him the biggest, baddest one here. he lifts an eyebrow as if to say wanna go? of course, he has no way of knowing if aaron is more or less than he seems in the strength department. if the deep bruises under his eyes are any indication, frank really doesn't care. ]

[Those bruises make Frank look even more intimidating. Aaron might be able to stand toe to toe with the guy like this but he really does not have the chiseled look. Aaron's pretty sure if this guy approached him menacingly on a normal day he'd give up his wallet and hope for the best.

So of course he's going to smile, nod and get into what he considers a fighting pose. Which is an awkward mix of his lower half looking like he knows what he's doing and is ready to move and his upper half looking ridiculous with his fists held up awkwardly posed in front of him. So basically he's wide open. He's a lot better at running and moving than fighting.]

[ no smile, but he picks up two rolls of cotton and starts wrapping his fists. this puts him at ease the way nothing can in this place. once he's deemed himself ready, frank climbs into the ring opposite aaron right under the giant skull insignia he painted on the wall. one might expect something explosive from an angry guy like him, but frank is deliberate and patient when he wants to be.

when aaron leaves himself open to attack, frank's first instinct isn't to take him down right away. this can be a lesson. a painful lesson, but a lesson all the same. once in his orbit he jabs out twice in quick succession for aaron's belly, accepting whatever counter strike comes in order to deal him a swift knee to the kidney. he's big but he's fast. now aaron knows. ]
