JOGGING.
Akechi really needs a proper set of atheletic wear... Granted, it's not really his biggest concern right now as he jogs along the sand paths. It's not as engaging as rock climbing or as refreshing as cycling, but he gets far too restless just sitting around during his spare time. And falling out of shape would be... what... unseemly? Disgraceful? Either way, exercise seems to be one of the few things that keeps him from wallowing in despair, and with an objective, it keeps his mind busy.

Indeed, as he walks around the outer-most routes, if one happens to be around, they may notice him actively scanning the area... and possibly getting frustrated as a result. Miserably, his hand comes up to touch at his hair, which shines a bit from grease. Perhaps the shower would be a luxury, but at least some proper toiletries would be nice? ... his hair is suffering... And it bothers him much more than he'd really like to admit...

KNITTING.
This is so much more difficult than any layperson would take for granted. In fact, Akechi had gotten so frustrated and discouraged at points that he'd sometimes given up. And yet, even as lethargic as he still is... there's something about this challenge that grates against him.

He won't let himself be beaten.

So maybe you're a knitter too, or maybe you've just happened to stumble upon the place where they're keeping their resources for this, in which case... you may see Akechi working very, very hard at getting better at knitting.

It's a point of pride, okay?

Perhaps he's so into it he doesn't even notice your presence, in which case, you probably shouldn't try sneaking up behind him... but, well, the option is available. Or maybe he's just finished a course and is examining his work. But for the love of god, do not rip out his course, accidental or otherwise... you have been Warned.

Akechi isn't the only one who likes getting in some exercise around town. It's not an uncommon sight to spot Carpet soaring over the rooftops after the work day is done, stretching his ~~legs~~ tassels, taking in the sights, and enjoying the wind whipping past. He doesn't have enough time to take in Akechi's expression, especially from that height--but he does see him down below as he zooms past overhead. A moment later, he's wheeling back around to swoop down towards him; what is Akechi doing all the way out here?

If it's just recreational, there's no harm in saying hi, at any rate. And if he's been asked to take care of some errand, then two people handling it would probably be faster anyway. As long as Akechi isn't looking for some time to himself, it'll be fine, right?

Beast of Burden (OTA)
[It sure is hard to move in by yourself, isn't it? Even his magic is only making it slightly easier. Noël has a mattress or some piece of furniture in what looks like some kind of wheelbarrow or cart made out of ice, with his cane locked in as the handle. Pushing it along like this is heavy, but doable..... getting it inside and properly situated will be the real hassle here. ]

Enlighten Me
[The sun hasn't set just yet, but better safe than sorry. Noël can be found rummaging around in various drawers or cabinets in the house, searching for candles, matches, and/or strikers, the lights still off in whatever room he's occupying. Please bring him into the modern era and show him that electricity is a Thing?]

Purse Owner
[Noël has managed to scrounge together a sewing kit. It's not much, really--a few pins and needles stuck to a magnet to make them stay put, a couple spools of whatever colored thread he could find, and a pair of scissors--, but it's more than enough for the simple project he has in mind. He's liberated a torn curtain from one of the other empty houses around Reims, and is currently cutting a couple strips loose, sitting by a window to make sure he has enough light to work.]

i. Turning a house into a home

[He doesn't need much, there's a mattress laying on the floor in his room under the window and he hasn't bothered with curtains. The set of doors to his room is almost always open as if inviting people in freely. Though usually Sora can be found in the great room or kitchen just hanging out - especially when there are other people around. In fact, he seems to spend more time out in the common spaces more than his actual room.

Most of the time, he's writing in an old-looking journal.]

ii. Household pets chase away nightmares

[Due to the nature of this world, Sora can't exactly have his Necho Cat Dream Eater with him all of the time. Not with the bells she has attached to her unique design. So this means that whenever Sora's home, the other residents can find this creature following him about. For some they may even find themselves suddenly experiencing a wave of good restful and nightmare-less nights ever since Sora and his odd-looking dog-cat creature arrived in the house.]

iii. Why is the pantry so full?

[As the days go by, the residents of the house may notice that the kitchen is starting to fill up with a ton of non-perishable items. In fact, there are even a bunch of food items that are hidden into the deepest recesses of the cupboards where other items are already stored. Boxes tucked behind pots and pans, cans stowed away with the cups and energy bars in the cutlery drawers. Many of these are marked with a set of big, black words - FOR EMERGENCIES.

Perhaps someone catches Sora in the act of putting more food items in where they don't belong.]

[ There was a lot of things and then there was a moment in which he'd spotted that thing following Sora which meant Yuu just staring a bit at it and rubbing at his eyes. Was he seeing things? No, that was impossible. Such a thought meant Yuu was coming up to Sora and just peering at the creature curiously. ]

...So uh... just what is this, Sora?

[ Really. He'd just been on his way out to see about getting some things for his 'room' but this was hard to ignore. ]

[For the last year, Sora has had a Dream Eater following him around so he barely thinks twice about having one out where other people can see it. Which is why when asked he doesn't really turn towards Yuu.]

It's a Dream Eater. This one is a Meow Wow but there's a bunch others I can summon too. Her name is Xi.

[The odd creature has no problem waddling over to Yuu for some attention.]

[Sora is not going to be much help in the electricity learning at the moment considering he has a bright ball of light moving in front of him. It's bright enough to illuminate the entire room even with the sun still streaming in the windows.

When he spots someone going through the drawers, he stops and watches for a minute.]

What are you doing?

He frowns as his eyes scan the buildings, looking for anything that might look like a bathhouse or gym. A certain name, the equipment inside... but as far as he can tell, there isn't anything, which... in the case of a bathhouse, he can understand, but a gym? Surely that sort of thing is just... standard, in a modern world...? Most major cities are generally considered to be very similar in facilities, aren't they?

That's when a flash of color catches his attention and he blinks, looking up and seeing Carpet drift down to him. Oh, he hadn't realized that this magical being could go quite so high, but... is that really such a surprise?

Never-the-less, his appearance brings a small smile to Akechi's face. It's so... nice, really, to have someone who can actually make him smile without it being forced at all...

He nods in greeting. Good day, Carpet.

i. Cooking

[ Bakugou has energy to burn and strategies to plan, so he turns to the one thing that lets him knock out both at once. He's been the quiet type ever since his arrival, sticking to his room or the kitchen whenever he's around which isn't often. He sleeps and eats there but that's about it. He often leaves early with a ready made lunch before returning in the evening looking dirty and sweaty and practically starving by the way he moves in the kitchen during dinner prep. He's already made himself at home, organizing the refrigerator just the way he like it and the cupboards are no exception. If anyone dares to move his shit around they probably would have been confronted by an angry bomber by now.

Currently, he's at the helm of the stove with an apron securely tied to his back as he finishes up the last sides to his bento box. He's already made all the sauces by hand and is about ready to sit down and eat his food like a good hero-in-training just as soon as he cleans up the kitchen. If anyone stops by and helps, he might be generous enough to offer his leftovers which are enough for two more bento boxes or at least a nice hearty meal because Bakugou doesn't skimp on anything he does. ]

ii. Books

[ The few times, the bomber seems almost placid is when he's in the living room reading a book. He likes the sofa there next to the window and can be found in a black tee and sweats with his feet propped up on the coffee table as he methodically flips through the pages of a real page turner - War and Peace. ]

iii. Personal Hygiene

[ It either happened the first day, or second, or even a week after you arrived at the house. One night, you're just minding your own business getting ready for bed when you walk into the bathroom and find Bakugou glaring at the mirror while brushing his teeth looking like he's about to murder some bacteria scum! Do you a) get your ass out of there before the psycho turns his sights on you or b) try to interrupt his death parade? ]

/Carpet waves cheerfully in return as he comes down, settling in to hover at eye level. He's holding his device in a back tassel today--carrying it around just in case, but he's trying to practice more and more with the sign language common here. He wants to get totally fluent soon! The sooner he can assimilate seamlessly, the better and easier his stay will probably be. Besides, isn't it nice to have an even quicker and easier way of talking than the devices?

Even if Akechi can't decipher it, he's sure the boy's device will translate for him. What are you doing all the way out here? Are you looking for something?

Poe doesn't have a rotating clothing wear yet. He's mostly still wearing a beige jumpsuit with a dark green shirt and his leather jacket that's from home. It's really the only item that isn't Reims. Jogging is a good past time to stop getting lost within your thoughts. He would go on long walks as well. Today he needed to do something other than cleaning and getting stuck in his thoughts. Maybe he needed to pick up a different job one that would keep him busy all the time.

As he coming around a corner at full speed he doesn't realize someone else had been there. He shouldn't be going full speed around a corner either. Poe comes to a stop sliding a bit not wanting to crash right into Akechi. Even if he may already be sweating due to jogging already. His short to his head wavy brown hair still looks it's best. There's a small nod with a apologetic smile. Poe takes a small step backwards making sure to give the other his personal space back. It wouldn't have been ideal to have smacked right into Akechi. He's in relief that he hadn't. His device shortly comes out and he starts typing on the screen, before raising it up for the other to see.

That could have been gotten messy. I'm normally more careful than that. And are you looking for something?

[ His eyes lit up immediately with awe and he knelt down to reach a hand out and pet the strange creature without a second thought. ]

Really? Is this something from your world or something you picked up from the ones you visited? She's uh... kinda cute.

[ Making sure to keep his voice low in talking, Yuu really didn't want to attract attention too much or get the natives banging on their door for being 'too loud' or whatever. It didn't stop him from just taking in Xi's bright colors and just the purely unusual aspects about her.

He's never seen anything like this before, after all. ]

[Xi doesn't hesitate to roll over for better belly petting. Just like the other teen, he's careful to keep his voice low so as to not attract unwanted attention.]

I found her and a bunch of others on other worlds. [Sora moves to where Yuu and Xi are and crouches down next to them. He reaches out to touch the emblem on her chest.] All of them are gonna have this symbol on them somewhere so you'll know that it's a good Dream Eater and probably mine.

[That's important. If Sora is ever in trouble, chances are one of these creatures are going to be looking for help. Or will help others. So far he hasn't seen any nightmare versions outside of the Dream Realm but things happen.]

Xi here has healing powers and can use her horn to fight enemies.

Akechi has been working on the hand language here as well, so he doesn't need to pull out his device in order to translate. The words are all simple enough that he manages to remember them, and he responds in turn using his own hands.

I'm trying to find a ... no word for gym or bathhouse that he's aware of... give him a moment to figure out how to word this... building with many showers. Something we can sound proof.

It's a good thing that in the silence, even the soft footfalls are easy to pick up. Akechi does take a step back, so he isn't quite as alarmed as Poe is, and merely nods once he's gotten his bearings. It'd be nice, really, to have some clothes that are more suitable for physical activity like this, but he considers himself lucky enough that he was able to get two of his own outfits from back home. The jumpsuit definitely wasn't his style...

Instead of pulling out his own device, he uses the hand language used by the natives to respond. Poe's device will translate it for him, if he isn't familiar.

Careful. That could have killed us. Would someone falling over onto sand be enough noise to draw the attention of a Sound Eater? He doesn't want to try finding out. I'm looking for a building with many showers. "Gym" and "bathhouse" aren't words he's learned yet, if they're even in their vocabulary.

[... what in the world... this newcomer looks, well. Particularly angry about something. It's not that Akechi cares so much, but... jesus??

He pulls his device out of his pocket and types into it, holding it up in the mirror. Either Bakogou's going to have to read backwards or turn around to see the words properly...]

Brushing your teeth harder isn't more effective at cleaning them. And the harder you brush them the louder you are, as well.

[Akechi swears if he dies bc some guy in his house was brushing his teeth so aggressively that it attracted Sound Eaters???]

[What... is this!!!

Akechi is immediately mesmerized by the little blob, stopping dead in the middle of whatever he was doing to stare at it in open curiosity.

It's so... round... and cute???]

[The teen its following around doesn't seem to notice one of his new housemates has been hypnotized by his Dream Eater. Yet the blob notices.

It's coming to meet the stranger. Once at Akechi's feet, it plops down on its butt and those little round front paws are lifting off the ground to put them on the human's legs. Stubby little tail wagging happily.

Careful of the horn.]

[ It should be criminal to have something be this cute?! He's not even really into cute stuff like what Shinoa or Mitsuba might be, but this Dream Eater was hard to resist. Maybe that was why he decided to go with it and began petting her belly, though his gaze was drawn to the symbol on her chest when it was pointed out. ]

...A good one? So there's bad ones... that makes sense but how would I be able to tell if there were bad ones around?

[ An honest question for what it's worth, right? He admittedly finds it kinda impressive that Xi can both heal and attack, earning something of a soft laugh from him at a thought that ran through his head. ]

Huh. That's probably really handy whenever you get caught up in a battle.

[The creature is loving the attention and wiggles on the floor, tail going a hundred miles a minute. Sora touches part the emblem.]

Their emblems are little more jagged-looking in places. Plus they tend to be darker in color. The Nightmare version of Xi has black on the top with a dark pink underbelly. And their eyes are usually red.

[Though it's more likely that they'll see Heartless before they see Nightmares. Now it's Sora's turn to play with Xi's back feet.]

Yeah, they watch my back in a fight and some of them can heal but not all. It's nice to have them around. I usually keep Nami with me but she has bells so I had to summon Xi instead.

So the complete opposite, then. Got it!

[ Pausing for a moment in what he was doing, Yuu looked over to Sora with wide eyes filled with that earlier interest. Only for him to huff a bit as his shoulders fell a touch. ]

Man, this just makes me wish I had my sword so I could show it off to you. Not that it really compares to this, but still.

[ Yuu shook his head, straightening up his arms up over his head as he remembered what he'd been meaning to do before coming across this. ]

Anyway. I gotta go and get some furniture for my... room... deck... whatever. Wanna come with me?

Yep.

[Some other time he'll tell Yuu about the other creatures he fights - there's no need to rush right now. Besides, they both already have enough to handle with the Sound Eaters.]

Maybe we'll get our weapons back. I've heard we can get things back from the natives after a while.

[Once again he's without his Keyblade and he'd like to know how the natives managed that. But Sora will just have to find a way to continue training in hand-to-hand combat.

Wait, what did Yuu just say?]

You're living out on the deck? Seriously? That's not safe at all! [Says the kid who used to nap near the rushing waves or rolling rivers.] Look, there's a ton of space in my room and I kinda dislike being alone so why don't we just be roommates?

[It would be for both of their sakes - not just to keep Yuu safe but for Sora's too.]

Akechi's face immediately melts and he reaches down to gently pet it around the horn.

IT'S... TOO CUTE, HE'S ALREADY INFATUATED...]

[The weird creature LOVES IT! Pet her mooooore! Her tail keeps wagging and now she's trying to lick Akechi's hands whenever they come close.

Her owner only now turns around - suddenly aware of her absence at his side.]

Xi, where'd you--? [Sora's voice is quiet and cuts off when he sees what's happening. Then laughs softly as he crosses over.]

Guess you found someone to play with, huh girl? [His fingers scratch her back.] Sorry about her, she's a little excited about being let out after a long while.

I hope it's okay if she stays around, she knows to be quiet.

[ Red eyes turn on him as he keeps on brushing b/c Fuck Gingivitis!

He reads the words mid-session and soon he's glaring daggers at him. He doesn't stop brushing, but he steps in his direction looking like a mad-dog about to corner him. "What the fuck did you just say!" ]
