As noted on the ooc plotting post, this prompt is in the form of a Network Post via the native who runs the Bulletin Board. The post can be found here. Out of the five separate teams, all groups decided to share the footage they found. On the morning of the first, the footage will go live as a compilation in order of oldest to newest. Character's devices will update at the same time. The weather is overcast and sullen, befitting the news, and characters can talk to each other on the network post or play out their reactions on the log here.

On the morning of the second, the locals will call a meeting at town hall. All soundproofing and partnering rules apply - find a person and help soundproof the area. This is so that everyone can speak during the meeting. The found footage has unsettled the natives and after the community takes a seat, Constance will share some interesting backstory. As one of the oldest members of the community, Constance wasn't alive when the Sound Eaters first came but she heard stories from her great grandmother. The 'tales' have taken twists and turns over time, leaving the survivors with a watered down version of events that amounts to - they came and everyone had to be quiet.

An elderly native will come forward and admit that they arrived through the Reset Room when they were a teenager and have been living there ever since. They tried to get home and they could never find away. Most interestingly, to those that listen closely to his story, is that he came with a sibling who was killed by a Sound Eater and wasn't Reset. Yet, he's known people to come through the Reset Room, die, and come back. Piping up from the background, another local mentions that those born in the world they're in now (natives) aren't reset when they die. It's not something they have any real understanding of. Arrivals tend to disappear at random times, stay in the community, or leave; those that choose to depart and explore the world never make it very far. Whether this is from Sound Eaters alone or someone or something else, the natives don't know. It's obvious they are frightened and don't go beyond what they know is safe.

The natives will now ask the characters if they will stay as permanent members of the community. If they choose to, they will be given the option to take on an apartment that is completely soundproofed, furnished, and will be accepted completely by the natives. This can open up doors for characters to become important parts of the community. No character has to agree to become permanent members. If a character chooses not to, the arrangement they're in will stay the same until a few months from now when the natives ask again. Arrivals are given the chance to talk to one another so that they can decide and digest the new information. There is also a comment below to ask the natives questions 'in front of' the entire community.

ooc: Players have until apps close this upcoming round to comment to the housing page saying that their character chose to be permanent members and are taking an apartment. The apartment is located closer to the Reset Room and are either one or two bedrooms; please note which one your character is taking.

The native Constance, who hands out the devices, has decided to step back from a leadership role and has submitted the names of those that she believes could lead the group better than she has. Please vote responsibly. During dinner, a group meal prepared and served in the town hall, slips of paper will be passed around with a pencil for everyone to vote. They will be anonymous unless the person chooses to share out loud who they voted for. There won't be much time for campaigning, but candidates are allowed to do so if they'd like - either handwaved or through their own posts/top-levels.

[as for herself, she's so okay. No thoughts of Kilgrave, none of his disgusting hold on her. This is the most okay she's been in awhile, probably since arriving here. There's a swell of excitement when she feels Faith's hands on her thighs, over her tights even, and she won't press further, not until she gives Faith a chance to check in, but gosh does she want more.]

[When Kara pulls away from kissing her, Faith lets out a soft regretful moan. Her eyelids are even heavier than usual, voice taking on a darker timbre.]

I was okay, until you stopped... [Faith nearly dives back in, leaning in close, but she stops. It's very unlike her to have caution, but she wants to follow Kara's lead here, terrified of screwing something up.] Are you?

[Kara shivers at just how... husky Faith sounds. In the classic romance movie playing in her head, Faith would be one of those jazzy lounge singers. Of course, that makes Kara picture Faith in one of the low-cut, glitzy dresses from that time with miles of leg spilling out the bottom, and that's just a lot to be imagining right now.

That she has to just think about Faith when she's right there, under her. She shakes her head, breaking out of the black and white romcom reverie, sitting back to look at Faith, her face flushed and her smile warm.]

I am just... ridiculously okay. Promise.

[Faith's hands are roaming as she stares up at Kara and tugging gently at fabric and trying to work out a way underneath the costume. She wets her still swollen lips, already imagining all the things she'd very much like to do to Kara in that moment.] Good.

[In a flash, although for Kara she'll probably see the move a mile away, she spins them both around on the bed, turning to place Kara underneath her instead, Faith now laying over top of her. Grinning, she stares down at her 'captured prize'. And then her lips are on her again. She's doesn't think she'll be getting tired of that feeling any time soon.]

[it doesn't matter that she sees it coming, Kara grins when Faith tumbles them over, giggling up at her until Faith kisses her again. She stretches out under Faith, languid, her hands falling to Faith's waist, fingertips roaming under her shirt, tracing each little inch of skin she can.]

[Faith will save Kara the trouble of having to deal with her shirt, sitting up a moment to tear it off and toss it aside, leaving only her black lace bra. She's got scars, here and there all over her body, those injuries serious enough that they never healed quite right. The most prominent that angry scar on her belly where Buffy had stabbed her. So perhaps Kara's roaming hands will find them.

She leans in again, returning the favor from earlier, trailing her mouth and tongue along Kara's neck line as she tries to work out how the hell to get her costume off.]

[Kara's whisper is hilarious but reverent as she stares up at Faith.] Holy toledo.

[her gaze roams over all this new skin, and she can't help but frown a little at the scars, her hands still on Faith's waist. She slides her left around to Faith's belly, her thumb brushing just to the side of the nasty scar on Faith's stomach. What could have caused that? She thought Slayers healed really fast?

She bites her lip, looking up at Faith and wondering if she should ask, if Faith wants to talk about it. Faith doesn't usually want to talk about things, though. Especially not bad things. So, instead, she looks up at her and says, genuinely:] I'm sorry this ever happened to you.

You need to learn how to swear. [Faith murmurs before her tongue plays a circle under Kara's ear and bites the lobe giving it a tub.

Slayers did heal fast. But some wounds, it didn't matter how quickly they sealed, they still left their mark. Especially that one marring her belly. And Kara is certainly right in thinking that Faith does not want to talk about it. Not now. If ever. There's too much to unpack, too much to admit. Like the fact that she'd deserved to get stabbed. Hadn't left Buffy much choice, goaded the other Slayer into it. Because Faith had wanted to die at the time...

She doesn't know what to say, so she's quiet, avoiding Kara's gaze, opting instead to run her hands down Kara's arms to ultimately catch hold of Kara's hands to attempt to coax them away from that scar.] Me too. [That's really the only response she can muster.]

[Kara huffs out a quiet laugh, squirming under Faith as she continues to plant kisses all along Kara's neck, and then to her ear, holy smokes. It's not a spot Kara knew she had a weakness for, but Rao's light it is working for her.] You can - you can swear for the both of us. Oh wow.

[once Faith grabs Kara's hands, though, Kara doesn't press the issue further. Instead, she twines her fingers with Faith's and brings her hands up to either side of her head. To all outward appearances, Faith would be holding Kara's arms down, but really, the strength isn't a contest. Enjoying how close it brings Faith down against her, though? That is what really matters. She kisses Faith again, an apology for bringing up old wounds.]

[She's grateful that Kara doesn't press the issue. It means a lot. More than she can really say, that Kara will allow her to tell her past on her own time. Faith's afraid what Kara might think of her, truthfully. But she knows it in part, bits and pieces of what Faith's admitted to her.

And she's still here. Still wants her. That's remarkable to Faith and she doesn't understand but's grateful for it.

Her hips grind absently against Kara, her arousal growing tenfold by the moment, soft groans escaping her mouth as they come up for air from each kiss.] Fine, how this for swearing?
