1 -- shout, let it all out (open log)
Featuring: tetora (nishizono) and anybody!
What's happening: soundproofing people's houses, open to prompts, do whatever floats your boat
Day/s: the whole of march
Content warning: profane/nsfw language, possible graphic depictions/narrations of violencei. soundproofing shenanigans
[ tetora was given, in exchange for his knives and other items, a task to do — soundproofing maintenance. it's an easy enough job, if tedious, but tetora hates owing people anything as much as he hates being chased, and he hates being chased a lot. so work it is — tetora sets out, door to door, and waits for residents to notice him before he gets to work.
if you find someone randomly loitering at your doorstep at some point this month? it's this guy, and he's here to protect your house from noise. ]
ii. wildcard!
[ leave me a prompt and i'll roll with it! for suggestions and questions, contact me through pm, discord (lucxy#3832), orsuperdick. ]

[ Wait that wasn't really an answer, let him think that one over. ]
Yeah. You know where ya stood. Someone gave ya shit, you didn't have to dance around leavin' angry sticky notes on their desk. I figure most people just go bumblefuckin' around, not knowing what they're good at. I guess it's too bad it couldn't be something like gardening
[ It was more of an academic statement than actual regret. It would have been objectively better for society if Majima was simply wired normally, that was all. ]
But whatever. Wouldn't do anything different.
You?

and i'm good at what i do, so it never really crossed my mind to switch up, you know?
[ it's true enough; why fix what isn't broken? tetora is good at killing, is designed to be good at killing. he's allowed himself to find some pride in that because he knows little else. ]

[ It might sound defeatist or whatever, but Majima didn't really have a problem with that sort of career trajectory in general theory. Society simply didn't make room for everyone at the top. There were a few reserved spaces for those with the connections and temperament to live the glitzy, privileged lifestyle, and everyone else just sort of fell into what was left.
And for those well-suited for the nightlife? Nothing inherently wrong with it. Or at least not enough to lose sleep over. ]
Actually, that hostess club work... think that's the longest I ever had a straight job. Technically, I'm still the manager.

i can't believe this.
[ in the meanwhile, during the course of the conversation, they'd managed to finish soundproofing the counter and the back cabinets. a lot of work gets done when there's something else to distract you from the passage of time, huh? ]
look at us, getting shit done. i'm so disgusted.
LET'S END THIS, I yell in fear of the rising tide of the new app rounds
[ But in any case, Majima could lean on the counter and take a little satisfaction, at least. ]
Hey, nice work. You're really earnin' that 12-piece cutlery set.
i shudder in fear of our inboxes already haha
[ wait for it, wait for iiiiit...... ]
oh.
oh, goddamnit, you think you're fucking funny!
