1 -- shout, let it all out (open log)
Featuring: tetora (nishizono) and anybody!
What's happening: soundproofing people's houses, open to prompts, do whatever floats your boat
Day/s: the whole of march
Content warning: profane/nsfw language, possible graphic depictions/narrations of violencei. soundproofing shenanigans
[ tetora was given, in exchange for his knives and other items, a task to do — soundproofing maintenance. it's an easy enough job, if tedious, but tetora hates owing people anything as much as he hates being chased, and he hates being chased a lot. so work it is — tetora sets out, door to door, and waits for residents to notice him before he gets to work.
if you find someone randomly loitering at your doorstep at some point this month? it's this guy, and he's here to protect your house from noise. ]
ii. wildcard!
[ leave me a prompt and i'll roll with it! for suggestions and questions, contact me through pm, discord (lucxy#3832), orsuperdick. ]

i'm here to help soundproof your house.
locals put me up to it in exchange for getting my stuff back.
no subject
they didn't just...let you have it back? how come?
no subject
[ tetora points to the door, surprisingly still possessed of his manners. ]
you gonna let me in?

[Will looks intently suspicious for a moment more, then sloooowly steps to one side. The house is smallish, fairly messy, clearly the home of two tweenage boys.
There are also approximately seven thousand pint-sized cans of paint stacked up against one wall, and a huge table with boxes of markers and pencils and crayons and so on to one side. There's a half-finished mural of a castle and forest on one wall, which probably explains why Will is covered in paint.]

the place is cozy-looking; it looks like something people could have lived in. homey, even. tetora would whistle if he could. ]
nice place you got. you living with other people here?
no subject
my friend mike. he's the wheeler, i'm the byers. [Hence the large "Castle Wheeler-Byers" sign on the front of the house. You know, cause 13-year-olds usually get houses of their own.]
no subject
you two are the the only ones here?
this place looks like a lot for just two kids.
no subject
yeah, just us. we get a lot of help, though, from some of the adults here. and some of the other kids.
[Unlike Mike "how dare you refer to me as a child I am a full grown man" Wheeler, Will isn't too proud to admit that two eighth-graders need a lot of help running a household.]
no subject
sparkle motionrainbow-colored coordination? ]how old exactly are you two anyway? you sure you two can handle running a household at your height?
[ like he's one to talk about height, but he's also not an eighth-grader here. ]
no subject
[That's old enough!! And Will scowls a little at his...pocket-sized five foot even.] mike's like five inches taller than me, so.
no subject
[ if tetora could laugh, he would. but he doesn't, because oiling hinges is actually serious work when you can just about hit the top of the door jamb. ]
the best part about being small is no one ever sees you coming for them.
no subject
[Will's crouched by the soundproofing materials now, looking over them curiously.]
yup. and you can hide easier. what do you do with all this stuff?
no subject
[ tetora watches will as he's watching the tools laid out between them, and cocks his head. ]
wanna join in?
no subject
am i allowed?
no subject
[ in fact, tetora nudges his bag in will's direction. ]
