1 -- shout, let it all out (open log)
Featuring: tetora (nishizono) and anybody!
What's happening: soundproofing people's houses, open to prompts, do whatever floats your boat
Day/s: the whole of march
Content warning: profane/nsfw language, possible graphic depictions/narrations of violencei. soundproofing shenanigans
[ tetora was given, in exchange for his knives and other items, a task to do — soundproofing maintenance. it's an easy enough job, if tedious, but tetora hates owing people anything as much as he hates being chased, and he hates being chased a lot. so work it is — tetora sets out, door to door, and waits for residents to notice him before he gets to work.
if you find someone randomly loitering at your doorstep at some point this month? it's this guy, and he's here to protect your house from noise. ]
ii. wildcard!
[ leave me a prompt and i'll roll with it! for suggestions and questions, contact me through pm, discord (lucxy#3832), orsuperdick. ]

He's suspicious. Kilgrave recognises him: the guy who was so eager to get his knives back. So what is he doing here? A house call? Guard duty?
Screw it. At least it's someone to talk to. He's bored out of his mind. So Kilgrave gets up and opens the door, looking his visitor up and down.]
Wasn't expecting visitors today. What are you doing here?
no subject
here to do some maintenance on your sound levels, so
hinge oiling, soundproofing, that sort of thing
you know, tedious work
[ tetora nods at the door, this time. wanna let me in? ]
no subject
[Kilgrave looks him up and down, eyes sharp. Yeah, he's not letting this guy in until he's satisfied at least that he's unarmed.]
no subject
[ he even puts his hands up, inviting the man to frisk him if he so desires. which, truthfully, he hopes kilgrave doesn't - too many bad memories about being manhandled, and all that. ]
no subject
So he steps back, holding the door open for Tetora, a silent invitation to come in.]
no subject
after a few rounds around the receiving area, he texts kilgrave. ]
you live alone?
no subject
This house is already soundproofed, you know. So we can talk, unless of course what you're doing is going to break anything before you fix it. What was your name again?
no subject
Tetora. Tet, if you can't pronounce it. [ he moves on to testing the walls, arm's span by arm's span. ] This is a pretty big house for just one guy. You like it in here?

no subject
[ there's a distinct lack of personhood in the surroundings, which is a little suspect but... hm. ]
You the loner type?
no subject
[Suffice to say he's not enjoying being cooped up alone. Otherwise he wouldn't bother talking to Tetora at all. At some point any human contact is welcome.]
no subject
So what do you do? For the community, I mean. They saddled me with this job, you know, soundproofing people's houses so I can get my shit back.
no subject
[The closed door, incidentally, goes into Bedroom 3 where Kilgrave has some things he doesn't want anyone to see. But Tetora doesn't need to know that.]
no subject
he does happen on bedroom three, by total accident - he'd been looking for the master bedroom, and seeing as he only stays in the garage in house twelve he has no care for the general layout of the interiors. he has a hand on the doorknob, but something keeps him from opening it, even though he knows he really wants to. tetora takes one look at it, blinks, and then walks away. nope. something weird is definitely going on. ]
Hey, yo - ever thought of hiring a stay-out maid or cleaner? Your place is a mess.
no subject
I've thought about it. Are you volunteering?
[Problem is that he compels his staff but if he's going to keep his deal with Jessica then he's not allowed to do that. It's a conundrum.]
no subject
[ he puts a little pressure behind the no, makes sure it comes with a whisper of drop it, testing the waters to see where this little encounter will take him. he has his suspicions, and if he's right...
he hopes he isn't. but what can one do if he is? ]
You should hire someone, though.
no subject
So he shrugs, waving a hand.]
Then I'll have to find someone more suitable than you. Leave.
no subject
[ ...hah uh. ]
Not while I'm around, anyway.
